Grandma's Lavender Shortbread

Grandma says: "Now, my dears, what could be better than a cup of tea accompanied by a piece of heavenly lavender shortbread?"

Readers of this blog will be aware that grandma is a fan of lavender. If more people used lavender the world would be a far better place . . . but I digress . . .
